Ecce Homo (Behold the Man) Fresco T-shirt
This tee features a reworked illustration based on the failed restoration of the Christ fresco originally created by Spanish painter Elías García Martínez in 1938. However, its current appearance (and fame) derives from a restoration attempt in 2012 by an 81-year-old parishioner. The intervention transformed the painting and made it look similar to a monkey, and for this reason it is sometimes referred to as Ecce Mono (Behold the Monkey).
