French Bulldog Illustration T-shirt
After England outlawed “bull-baiting,” unemployed Bulldogs were bred with smaller breeds, which resulted in Toy Bulldogs. When lace workers from Nottingham relocated to France and brought these Toy Bulldogs with them, they were eagerly traded. As these small Bulldogs grew in popularity, they began to be seen as a new breed and were given the name “Bouledogue Français.” Though “Dogue” translates from French into “mastiff,” and French Bulldogs are distant descendants of mastiffs, they were considered extremely fashionable in French society.
This classic unisex jersey short sleeve tee fits like a well-loved favorite. Soft cotton and quality print will make you fall in love with it over and over again. These t-shirts have-ribbed knit collars to bolster shaping. The shoulders have taping for better fit over time. Dual side seams hold the garment's shape for longer.
