Robert Stewart Exhibition Poster (1953) Art T-shirt
Robert Stewart produced paintings, tapestries, graphics, ceramics and murals, but it is his textile designs that have been the most influential. He attended Glasgow School of Art during the 1940s and went on to become the Head of Printed Textiles in 1949. His work is held in Museum collections where his contribution to textile design is described as "particularly significant."
