Henri Matisse Sleeping Woman (1953) Sketch T-shirt
This tee has a famous artwork originally created by Henri Matisse as a pencil line drawing of a woman's face as she sleeps. He wrote about his struggle in accurately depicting the human figure. “I know that I must give it something more,” he explained. “I will concentrate the meaning of the body by seeking its essential lines. The charm will be less obvious at first glance, but it must eventually emerge from the image... (it) will have a broader meaning, and one more fully human.”
This soft-style t-shirt puts a new spin on casual comfort. Made from very soft materials, this tee is 100% cotton for solid colors. Heather colors and sports grey include polyester. The shoulders have twill tape for improved durability. The collar is made with ribbed knitting to prevent curling damage.
